TSL-95923-18-SA (Re), 2018 CanLII 141586 (ON LTB)[1]
12. The Landlord did not summons the person who made the complaint to testify as a witness and did not submit a sworn statement, declaration, or affidavit from that person. The Landlord submitted the email and letter from the person who allegedly made the complaint. However, I note that these are heavily redacted to conceal the identity of the person and the signature on the letter is blacked out. As such, I can give little weight to these documents.

Procedural Issues
3. On my own motion I have amended the application to more accurately reflect the names of the parties. The Tenant signed a lease with the corporate Landlord; the personally named Landlord is the sole owner of the corporation.
4. The Tenant tendered copies of documents as evidence that were redacted. As the Landlord did not object and the missing or blacked out portions of the documents do not appear to affect the materiality of the contents, I accepted them into evidence.
